You may know PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy by its other name, the vampire facial. As the name suggests, the treatment uses your own blood to promote collagen production (a key component of skin healing) and give a firmer, smoother texture to the skin, with results lasting up to a year.


So how does it work?

After applying a local anaesthetic, a small amount of blood is drawn from your arm and placed in a centrifuge, which separates the platelets from the blood. This is then re-injected into the targeted areas of your face.

You can continue with most activities as usual immediately post treatment. But swelling & bruising is possible in first 3-5 days.
